Rhetorical Appeal

Which rhetorical appeal works more effectively on you? Which rhetorical appeal persuades you the most? Why? How could professional, academic, and cultural habits influence the way rhetorical appeals affect you?  

The rhetorical appeal that works most effectively on me is Logos, it is also the rhetorical appeal that will persuade me the most.  So many arguments these days rely on Ethos and Pathos without including the most important element – Logos!  I don’t want to see your bleeding heart, I want to see the facts in black and white! 

Professional, academic, and cultural habits have affected the way rhetorical appeals affect me because so many arguments are not based in fact.  It’s easy to tug on the heart strings of readers by using information out of context or by showing images that are unrelated to the topic at hand.
